Normally, the park is located on the territory of several provinces and cities will be managed by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and if it is located only on territory of one province or city, will be managed by People’s committee of that province/ city.  After reform and opening of country, Vietnam is one of the leading developing countries in the world. The country towards the future, many achievements gained but lot of loss.       Deforested areas, destroyed ecosystems caused by speedy economics without protection measures. Faced with natural disasters and risks of losing the rare genetic resources of plants, animals, insect, as well as edemic bioatmosphere, steped into 1996, Vietnam government decided to  set up the first national park as a symbol of nature protection carried out by country and the citizens as a whole. The first milestone was proved for success of this projection and decree is Cuc Phuong National Park, located at territory of 3 provinces: Ninh Binh, Thanh hoa and Hoa Binh. From then on, Vietnam set up more and more regional wildlife conservation in the country . Vietnam currently has 30 national parks with a total area of national parks around 10350.74 km² (620.10 km² of which is sea level), representing approximately 2.93% of the land territory.

       Figures shown in august 2015, there are total 31 national parks in Vietnam, including: Ba Bể, Bái Tử Long, Hoàng Liên, Du Già-Cao nguyên đá Đồng Văn. Tam Đảo, Xuân Sơn, Ba Vì, Cát Bà, Xuân Thủy, Cúc Phương, Bến En, Pù Mát, Vũ Quang, Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng, Bạch Mã, Núi Chúa, Bidoup Núi Bà, Phước Bình, Chư Mom Ray, Chư Yang Sin, Kon Ka Kinh, Yok Đôn, Lò Gò-Xa Mát, Tràm Chim, Mũi Cà Mau, U Minh Hạ, U Minh Thượng, Phú Quốc, Côn Đảo.

         If travelling on North Vietnam, some famous national parks are strongly recommended on travel forums: Ba Be (can join tour on Babe lake, is a largest natural freshwater in Vietnam, really beautiful and tranquil for ecotourism); Hoang Lien Son (Sapa town – a well-known travel spot is located there. Tourists can join trekking tours around ethinic villages or conquering Fansipan peak on foot or cabble car (recently used) and of course, Cuc Phuong is a very destination should be done in your list. Besides, if choosing somewhere nearer in diameter under 100km from Hanoi centre, tourists also come to Ba Vi or Tam Dao (all are really interesting places for relaxed and enjoyed tours).  Many national parks, each of them characterized by different features, unique and attractive.
